Advocacy

At AOPA India, we advocate for General Aviation, and particularly Sport Flying in India. There are many long-standing issues that aviators currently face. This is primarily due to Sport flying laws being grouped with Commercial aviation. A lot of regulations for Airlines and Charter operations should not apply to hobby flying.

This often results in onerous compliances for hobby flyers.

We at AOPA aspire to bring regulations in India more in line with international ones.
